Radiographs (x-rays) provide a useful diagnostic tool and are a common procedure in our clinic. They help us diagnose internal diseases, fractures, dislocations, joint disease, tooth root issues and many more problems.
Our radiology suite consists of the x-ray unit and a digital processor. Modern digital processing enables us to assess radiographs within minutes of taking the picture.
Digital images are easily shared by email and we can easily request second opinions from specialist vets if required.
Commonly, radiographs might require the pet to be sedated or anaesthetised so that we can obtain good quality, diagnostic images.
